A selling exhibition

Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler, the well known interior decorating firm, are delighted to be holding an exhibition of Cecilia Willis ceramics at their showroom in Pimlico Road. The exhibition will run from Thursday 2nd December to Saturday 11th December.
Cecilia Willis has been working with clay for the last 17 years. Formerly a jeweller, she spent many years living in Japan and Malaysia discovering a love of the Asian aesthetic and for ceramics. Upon returning to the United Kingdom, Cecilia set up her studio at home in Norfolk. Focusing primarily on bowl forms, her work is hand thrown on the wheel in fine white stoneware. Cecilia’s work is glazed in multiple layers of specially mixed colours and often decorated with strong markings made with Japanese brushes.
